Currently I am using the genesis eleven 40 pro child theme on WANEntrepreneuer.
This theme has so many great features.
You can’t expect less from studiopress, one of the best theme designing company out there and the maker of eleven 40 pro theme..
Today I want to share a tutorial on how to remove the site description in the eleven40 pro child theme.
When you newly install and activated the theme, you will see it comes with a site description when viewed….
And as we can see this one description is: Mobile responsive and HTML5 theme built for the Genesis Framework. But what if you want the site description but certainly don’t what it on your site? Here is how to remove it.
Go to your WordPress dashboard….then to your theme editor under appearance.
The first page that appears in the editor is your style.css.
At the right, you will see a number of files that made up the theme. Go to functions.php.
Search for this particular line of code as highlighted in the above screenshot:- add_action( ‘genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap’, ‘genesis_seo_site_description’ );
And delete it… then update file.
Go back to your blog and you shouldn’t see the site description there.
Thanks for reading….
Your comment is appreciated!!!..
