How to enable notification for pending post approval in WordPress

We all know WANEntrepreneur is a multi-writer blog were people are allowed to register either as a site User or a (Writer).

If you had a role in your blog such as the contributor, you would notice that whenever an article was submitted for review by these contributors, there wouldn’t be a way you can know, except you log into your blog as the admin and see pending post for approval.

I want to show you how you can get notified of pending post

I found a nice plugin that could do the work;

The plugin name is Wp Status Notifier. There is not much requirement in other to get this plugin up and running. All you have to do is install, Activate and start getting notifications of pending post..

You can allow the plugin to notify more than one email address by going to the Status Notifications under your settings in your dashboard.

You could also notify your contributors when their post is approve or declined…( For the decline notification option to work, you have to move pending post to draft)
